El Bulli has been named The World's Best Restaurant a staggering five times with head chef Ferran Adrià now a global superstar, and not just in the chef world. The accolade has cemented Adrià's position as one of the 21xt century's most influential chefs and made famous his 'molecular' style of cooking. "There is no doubt the awards have changed the history of gastronomy," says Adrià. El Bulli has now closed.
