Now (perhaps to ring the changes with a bit of positivity) for National Eating Out Week (19-25 November) TripAdvisor has scoured its millions of traveller reviews, both positive and scathing, to bring you this list of London’s top 10 restaurants.

Says spokesperson Emma Shaw: “From the more casual to the full-on Michelin-starred dining, these restaurants have been hailed by the people that matter – diners, and what better way to celebrate National Eating Out Week than heading out to sample one of London’s best loved eateries”. What a joke, give me a good restaurant that serves a plate of food, not a pretty picture on a plate then charges a fortune for it!!

Reasonably priced, succulent and nutritious, but not at those prices. For goodness sake display a real meal for the masses not the elite.

Real resturants for real Londoners please! Most of us are still in The Recession after all. Beautiful food, but I am not selling my left kidney to eat it!

Hello
I love curries or the spice added cooking because I am from Sri Lanka and they use these very extensively. When you cook these curries or the spice added curries the aroma is really appetizing but some people do not know about these spices. They are medicinal, antibacterial and also antiviral as well.  They are a kind of herbal medicines and some are good to lower cholesterol. Please let me come over and show my scientific way to cook and save gas and also cut down the CURRY COLOGNE depositing on while cooking. Who would like to walk about with curry cologne and be a MOBILE KITCHEN?I will show how to cut down this CURRY COLOGNE  depositing on the people who cook. I have shown my scientific cooking and energy saving techniques in SRI LANKAN TV and they love it. So why not I come to one of these shows and let the people know how to COOK SCIENTIFICALLY AND SAVE ENERGY. Saving gas and cutting down curry smell certainly make these cooking shows more and more popular. Please let me come and show so that the general public as well benefit from these techniques. Please email me perera6@hotmail.co.uk
I apply scientific techniques to ENERGY SAVING COOKING. In some cases I can show how to save about 60% wasting gas. If any scientist, energy expert could disprove my technique of ENERGY SAVING COOKING, I am prepared to give away £5000 yes you heard it correct. So why not give me a chance to show this to the public so that they would be saving money. Come on please someone take this chance and see my technique. My aim is to show how to save gas and cook scientifically.

Well it will keep the poseur's and more money then sense brigade busy leaving proper food at cheap to reasonable prices for our eating out, for the rest of us.
My wife squirmed once in one of these places when I asked the waiter where my dinner was, when I was served the main course.
