MSN Food's US road trip

Getty Images
Food writer and American grub aficionado, Neil Davey, is hitting the highways of America's East Coast for MSN Food. His mission? To visit as many shacks, cafés, diners, street vendors and restaurants as he can in search of the very best of American cuisine. Think lobster rolls, burgers, cheese melts, hot dogs and clam chowder. It's Guy Fieri meets Adam Richman. It's the stuff of dreams - and elasticated waistbands.

Maine Lobster Festival
Throughout the week, you'll be able to follow Neil's progress as he takes charge of our Twitter page, posting regular updates on the people, the places and the platesful he encounters. If you missed his visit to the Maine Lobster Festival, you can catch up below... but be prepared for the hunger pangs.
