The interior is pretty much what you’d expect from a joint priding itself on America’s most famous cuisine – although there is a small outdoor area, Red Dog is not a huge place and there are no airs and graces here. Grab a beer and stand around for a bit, get sat down on a wooden bench, eat some meat. It’s a routine everyone’s happy with.

The idea of food as an adversary is a relatively new and intriguing one, if we're speaking in historical terms. Of course, Shakespeare plays are full of giant banquets and all that jazz, but I'm talking about truly comedic portions here. Having been inspired by the heroics on hit online show Epic Mealtime (fast food lasagne, anyone?), a few friends and I hit the streets of our beloved East London to see if we could get ourselves a slice of the action.

love the "cool" wait staff with the beards etc.....  attitude from staff really adds to the whole dining experience.

I could get more than that stuck between my teeth! The challenge here is the time limit of 10 minutes - not the quantity of food.

Just a big girls blouse. That would be an evening snack after 3 meals for our crew. By the way none of us are overweight as we exercise. All the diet rubbish is a waste of time.

That looked absolutely disgusting. He might as well just of sat and ate a large brick of lard. I have to agree with Ian Frost when he says about the americans version. This burger was miniscule compared to what they have.  I guess it is a case of, ''do you go out to eat to live'' or  ''are you looking for the easy way out of life'' because if you are eating stuff like that to often you need to be exercising alot.

A on your Devastator wallet yes but that burger should be called the Mini me burger  not The Devastator . I would be embarrassed to serve a burger on a tea saucer and call it that .

Get yourselves down the Black country were men are men. We have a challenge that shows the soft southerners up.  Smokeys, based in Walsall is a new American-Style restaurant offering traditional and modern favourites and is home of the Monster Challenge Burger, with the burger alone weighing in at 1.5kg!

Why would you want to eat that!  Most people want to loose a little weight.

Have a look at this program I've started using. Fantastic!!
