Mango coconut smoothie
There's a lot to this smoothie from Honestly Healthy, a recipe book dedicated to eating an alkaline-based diet. Packed with cholesterol-lowering fibre, energy-giving complex carbohydrates and protein for building and repair, this smoothie is a classic all-round healthy drink.
½ a mango, sliced
475ml coconut water
40g desiccated coconut (dry, unsweetened, shredded coconut)
½ a tsp of vanilla extract
Blend the ingredients in a Vitamix or high-speed blender until smooth.
