Craig is the London-based editor of the MSN Food website. In a former life, he used to edit and commission law books for Thomson Reuters before leaving to get involved with his three favourite things in life - food, drink and travel.
Craig has now been a freelance journalist and editor for over five years. His career in food began with a full-time role at delicious. magazine and Sainsbury's Magazine, where he helped to launch the delicious. magazine and Channel 4 Food websites and met some of the UK's most talented chefs, restaurateurs and writers.
After two years, Craig went freelance to write for the London Evening Standard, The Guardian online, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Esquire, GQ.com and the Channel 4 Food website. Craig has also written for The Spectator Scoff!, WeightWatchers online, Tim Hayward's Fire and Knives project, Heaver property magazine, Decanter and trade magazine Harpers Wine & Spirit. Less well known are his stints at The Wisden Cricketer and Nuts magazines.
Growing up in Hong Kong, with family originally from New Zealand and many years spent in the UK, Craig likes to indulge his love of travel and food at every opportunity. He loves to cook and entertain, is obsessed with coffee (roasting his own at home), Scotch whisky (most beers, wines and spirits too, as it happens), is a keen follower of All Blacks rugby and spends as many Sundays a year as possible eating Chinese dim sum lunch with friends.
